Edgar enjoys a reputation as one of the most established and innovative makers in Cremona. This Stradivarius model violin has been previously owned by a concertmaster of a Swiss orchestra for many years. Best suited for a player looking for quality and projection across all strings. The response is immediate and the sound is very focused and powerful. Truly one to try in person!

Violin by Edgar Russ, Cremona 2007

This is a very beautiful addition to our collection. A wonderful Carlo Antonio Testore model from the distinguished maker Edgar Russ from Cremona. This particular example is from 2007 and has been played for many years at a very high professional level. Edgar has been making master violins in Cremona for decades and he has consistently managed to set himself apart. The sound of this violin is strong yet refined. A very sweet and resonant low end yields to the brilliance and precision of the high register.
